Rutherford mark, name of piece, and year on back
Believed to have been forged in the shadows of the Obsidian Forge, Mournfang is a long-lost weapon of immense power. This sinister scythe, once wielded by a noble King, grants dominion over life and death, but at a terrible cost. The scythe consumes the wielder’s soul piece by piece, replacing it with the memories and dreams of those it has claimed. As the wielder’s soul fades, they begin to hear the voices of the dead, whispering in a chorus of regret, vengeance, and sorrow. The longer the weapon is used, the more the wielder is drawn into its power, losing their identity until they are little more than an echo, bound to the scythe for eternity. In a last gasp of his humanity, the King that once wielded this scythe is said to have sacrificed himself to conceal the weapon forever. Yet, stories of powerful beings - necromancers, warlords and fallen heroes, are said to still search for the temptation of this powerful weapon. Would you dare embrace its legacy, or seek to challenge its curse?
