This one was inspired by Kayla and I’s travels this summer in the van. While driving through the mountains of Maine, we stopped at a particularly amazing viewpoint to take in the sights. A vibrant green weevil flew in to say hello, and decided to hang out with us for quite some time. We let it crawl all over our hands and arms, and at times it almost seemed to reach out to our fingers when we put them near. The little guy was so curious and cute, I’d like to think we made a friend in that time. I decided to create this design in honor of that mountain weevil, and to perhaps speak to those moments you’ve had with nature as well.
